“Once upon a time there was a happy prince of Denmark�, Horatio begins his story about Hamlet. However fortune comes to an abrupt end when Hamlet’s father, the king of Denmark, is assassinated. On the threshold to adulthood the death of the father puts an end to infancy. Freedom from care fades away as the world of grown-ups absorbs the two fellow sufferers. Hamlet and Horatio decide to reveal and avenge the killing. A dramatic tragedy set in the twilight zone between child- and adulthood.
Det lille Turnéteater’s adaptation of Hamlet in English has been approved with the American theatre award, the Victor Award. It has toured the international scene extensively.
